I am a sucker for pop culture montages. There is something so magical about a favorite show, like The Office or Friends, dedicating an entire episode to favorite moments. It is like watching all the best parts of the show in a fraction of the time.

Now imagine if someone were to create a drool inducing montage of your favorite recipes, from your favorite bloggers. Oh, and imagine if that someone were to also sprinkle in recipes that you haven’t seen before, and links to various resources that will help you whip up these creations with ease. You wouldn’t have to dig through your bookmarked blog posts, search for printed recipe sheets, or dig through a blog index to find your favorite dishes. Now that would be a cookbook no one could live without.

And now you don’t have to!

This is where my attention was captured – the recipe layout is awesome! You find an image of the dish with the ingredients on the left, and cooking instructions with details on prep time on the right.
The author of the recipe’s image along with a link to their site is at the base of the recipe, and links to recommended products and cooking tools are on every page.

The ten sections of the book are:
  • Decadent Desserts
  • Beef Entrees
  • Pork Entrees
  • Poultry Entrees
  • Seafood Entrees
  • Breakfast
  • Sides & Snacks
  • Appetizers
  • Soups
  • and Stocking The Kitchen bonus section!

Honestly, the book is polished. Not only does the presentation make it an easy to utilize resource, but the variety of recipes will keep your paleo taste-buds satisfied for a long time to come.

About Monica Kenney

Monica Kenney has written 87 post in this blog.

Monica is the latest member of the Paleo Parents Team! Raised in a full-on hippy house, she was taught to love the land and the animals that feed from it. From old school hog butcherings to berry farm harvesting treks, her parents showed that health began with food choices. However, her teen years brought her down a rebellious path with food and she began to struggle with the world of weight-gain, yo-yo diets, and eating in secret. It wasn’t until her husband nudged her in the direction of the Primal Blueprint that she learned how to break my unhealthy cycle. Now she is carving out her own hippy life and learning how to raise a real food loving family!

my primary question is, are the recipes NEW, or are they already available on each contributor’s website? I can’t seem to find the answer to that question anywhere…

    • Marla Sarris

Hey Breanna! I can only answer in regard to my own contributions. Two of my recipes are available on my blog, Paleo Porn, and then there is also one recipe from Los Paleo: Mexican Paleo Recipes and another from Pigskin Paleo: Gameday Paleo Recipes, my two paperbacks. Hope that helps. :)

    • Rachael Adams

I believe it is a pretty good mix. I am also one of the contributors and 3 of my 4 are brand new and the remaining one is a really popular one from my blog!

    Hello,

Is there a printed version of this book or is it only in eBook format? On the ordering page it shows the printed version of the book with the product description as “The Fat-Burning Chef (Half Price Discount Plus Bonus Package)” It is a bit confusing as I would automatically assume I was ordering the printed version of this product.

    Regards,

    Mark

      It is just an ebook.
