I’m not really one for Valentine’s Day. To me, it seems like it’s only out to make single people feel lonely and couples pressured to spend money. That said, I can’t not love a holiday who gives me an excuse to eat chocolate. It also happens to be the week of my husband’s birthday and a long weekend, so when we’re not shoving paleo cupcakes in each others’ faces, we try to always get away to a Bed & Breakfast, drink wine in a hot tub and eat chocolates.

I figure I ought to add more to my review of ELAD. I have a family of 6, I homeschool, 3 of my 4 children are boys, one of my boys has high functioning Autism ( he is only high functioning due to diet & alternative therapies). ELAD has many practical recipe ideas to keep your family satiated. Kids do not crave as much when you feed them enough healthy fats & protein. Imagine what it is like when you have your kids at home on the weekends (if you use public schools that is). If you have boys, especially, they want to EAT ALL OF THE TIME! Well, I have that everyday! Sun up to sun down. My boys ages are 5,6, and 11 (and my girl is 9). They absolutely love helping me cook through ELAD. My favorite chapter is chapter 9 though. The Food Projects & the Out & About Projects are the home run for me as far as a cookbook goes. They make the book even more valuable. You won’t be disappointed in this one. BTW, I have alot of Paleo cookbooks, so I know what’s up.
