A little while back we posted our review of Well Fed. Spoiler: we loved it!

Since that time we’ve made more recipes and loved every one! We even made a meal from Well Fed for Stacy’s mom on Christmas Eve! Presenting the delicious and hearty Cinnamon Beef Stew with Orange Gremolata served on Cauliflower Rice Pilaf!

It was completely spectacular and filling. Who knew cinnamon would so lovely enhance a beef stew? And the orange adds a great bright touch. The rice pilaf was also terrific, causing Finn to keep going back until we ran out!

When we told Melissa how much we loved and wanted to recommend this book, she offered us the opportunity to give one away to you all!  We wanted to wait until the New Year since it features tons of Whole 30 or a 21 Day Sugar Detox friendly recipes for whatever goals, resolutions or clean eating you may be participating in.

    Hi there!  I love your website and already follow you!  The Well fed cookbook looks amazing and since I have a butternut squash, which I have never cooked before, sitting in my fridge, I’m going to make that one TODAY!  I downloaded the free ebook and so appreciate having such an awesome sampling and so MUCH more.  I shared your post on the Tim Ferris 4-Hour Body facebook group since a lot of us are doing the Whole30 together! I just started Paleo in the fall but have been eating close to Paleo for a year (I had been eating legumes).  I felt great eating Paleo like with the legumes but even better without them, which surprised me (for example, my Reynaud’s syndrome is practically gone!).

    OMG your web site really ROCKS!  I have just started subscribing to it and love all your recipes!  I have 1 year old twins with IBS (or something that I daren’t allow a medical doctor to treat – I’ll stick to my naturopath thank you) and so I am always looking for something to feed my family that the babies can tolerate as well – you haven’t ceased to let me down – well they can not tolerate fairy in any form so… – and as for the clothes make the girl – YES, I love her recipes and her blog.  Thank you guys for sharing the wealth.

    I’ve arleady done my take on the coconut chips, but toast the coconut first and mix with some liquid smoke afterwords for a bacon like taste, as I don’t do pork.  But the scotch eggs look really good from the free preview or from the site the meatza pie sounds good or the paleo pumpkin gingerbread as I love gingerbread.

I downloaded the free ebook sampler to check it out…as i’ve been looking for paleo/primal recipes to start on that journey. I saw a lot that looked good…a lot that have interesting ingredients i’ve never tried before. One I’d like to try…the Jicama ‘potatoe’ salad. I’ve always seen jicama at our local grocery, but have never tried it. Probably since I never knew how..what it tasted like, where it came from…ha ha ha!     I made her Moroccan Meatballs for New Year’s Eve (we always make finger foods that night – the kids love that tradition).  The picture here doesn’t show the sauce, because we ate it all!  This was soooo good.  I encourage anyone to try it.  I fried up the little meatballs, since my oven was busy.  I would not do that again!  Baking would be so much easier.
