A video interview with the real authors of Eat Like a Dinosaur

Cole and Finian got super excited when we told them we had shared the news about our book on the website. To a kid, a secret is a big deal. And since the book has been a large part of our lives for the past several months, this was a huge moment for them. We’ve been talking about how the timeline for a book works, and they knew this was a big milestone.

As soon as Cole got home from school, he asked to see the book on Amazon. We talked about how many millions there were on the site, but that ours was moving up lists because people loved our ideas and were already buying it. He watched comments, shares, tweets and likes come in from all over the internet. Supporting a project he believed in. For a cause that changed his health. A lifestyle that changed his family’s life.

With great enthusiasm he asked if he could do a video about the book, “since we can talk about it now.” So without further ado, here are our little co-authors and excellent recipe testers discussing Eat Like a Dinosaur. Watch as they get really excited. About EVERYTHING!

Teaser recipes mentioned:

  • Anytime Cookies
  • Frozen Waffles
  • Mock-a-Mole
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Sweet Potato Fries
  • Chicken Nuggets
  • Hissin’ Chicken
  • Cole’s Salmon Salad in a Boat

Could Cole pushing Finian’s hair out of his eyes be ANY cuter??!?
Looking forward to the book, guys!

They both love his hair and obsess about pushing it back. Honestly, we’re all a little bit in love with Finn’s hair because he’s the only one with straight hair.

      Thanks for your support!

I NEED the frozen waffle recipe NOW! lol
I have never found a good recipe for this yet. I was just searching for one again since I am planning things to make for next week to make life easier on busy school days. I remember you talking about waffles on something I read on the blog but alas the recipe is in your book. I wish it was already published!
